GOLDEN STATE STORM RE-SIGN WR1 AND ALL-PRO BREAKOUT STAR SYLVIA SLOSS FOR SEASON 2

OAKLAND, CA — The Golden State Storm announced today that wide receiver Sylvia Sloss (#4) has officially signed a contract extension to return for her second season with the franchise.

Sloss took the Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC) by storm in her inaugural campaign, establishing herself as one of the most dynamic threat-makers in the game. In a jaw-dropping rookie year, Sloss led the Storm in total touchdowns (5)—racking up 214 receiving yards (11.3 avg), 3 receiving TDs, and 2 rushing TDs (7.7 YPC)—while remaining neck-and-neck for the WNFC total points leader crown throughout the season.

Her performance earned her 2026 WNFC All-Pro honors, making her one of the top wideouts in the league in her very first year playing tackle football. Entering her second season with a full professional offseason under her belt, expectations are sky-high for Sloss to lead the Storm's offense and solidify her standing among the elite receivers in women's football.

"Sylvia’s rookie season was nothing short of extraordinary," said Golden State Storm Leadership. "To step onto a tackle football field for the first time and immediately put up All-Pro numbers speaks to her rare athleticism, competitive drive, and work ethic. She set the tone for our receiving corps last year, and in Season 2, we expect her to be one of the most unstoppable forces in the league."

"Last year was special, but it was just the beginning," said Sloss. "We established our identity in Year 1. Now that we have experience, chemistry, and a full offseason behind us, the goal isn't just to compete—it's to bring a WNFC Championship home to Oakland."
