GOLDEN STATE STORM RE-SIGN DEFENSIVE ANCHOR KISHA HARRIS FOR SEASON 2

OAKLAND, CA — The Golden State Storm announced today that defensive standout Nakisha "Kisha" Harris (#47) has officially signed a contract extension to return to the team for its upcoming second season in the Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC).

Harris, a veteran defensive presence and local Bay Area coach, played a vital role in establishing the Storm’s relentless defensive unit during their inaugural 2026 season. Operating along the defensive front, Harris delivered consistent gap discipline and physical tackling, tallying 21 combined tackles (3 solo, 18 assists) and 2 tackles for loss across six games.Her football IQ, leadership, and edge containment proved crucial to anchoring the Storm's front seven throughout their inaugural campaign.

"Kisha brings an incredible combination of veteran leadership, tactical discipline, and physicality to our front seven. Her dedication on and off the field sets a benchmark for what it means to represent Oakland and the Golden State Storm."
